Wayward Miles explores beautiful places, strange detours and the mildly degrading process of getting from your couch to the destination in the first place.

## Channel Overview

Travel media has spent years convincing us every trip is a sunrise drone shot followed by a silent breakfast overlooking an infinity pool. Wayward Miles is interested in the other 93 percent: missed turns, delayed flights, questionable rentals, tourist traps, bad weather, unexpectedly great roadside food and the moment somebody realizes the “easy hike” has switchbacks.

The channel mixes real destinations with scripted commentary and recurring traveler energy, so the place still matters — we just refuse to behave as though getting there makes everyone spiritually enlightened.

It is part travelogue, part destination discovery and part evidence that a vacation can be worth taking even when several parts of it go objectively wrong.

- Viral travel spots, famous landmarks and the expectations-versus-reality gap.
- Roadside attractions, local oddities and places you visit primarily because somebody said, “We are already this close.”

## Format / Creative Approach

Destination footage, satirical narration, travel commentary and recurring character beats. The destination gets to be beautiful. The people attempting to visit it are under no such obligation.
